Abstract
Simson Garkfinkel’s paper “Digital forensics research: The next 10 years” was an important reflection on the state of our field back in 2010. As we have now passed the 10 year anniversary of that publication, it is the time now to look at the challenges of the next 10 years. In order to compile such challenges, we seek collaboration with the digital forensics field in this interactive session. The purpose of this workshop is to engage attendees at DFRWS USA 2021 to share their views on what the challenges of the next 10 years looks like in their eyes and to collaborate on a paper to potentially submit to the next conference as a follow-up to Garfinkel’s paper.
